Walking With Purpose

Four days in, and we are already making huge strides!

This month, we are challenging ourselves and our community to walk. Specifically, to walk for the 12,000 Kalamazoo students we support. With the help of over 25 walking teams, 180 individual walkers, and champion walkers, we are striving to walk a total of 12,000 miles to raise awareness and funds for the mission of CIS: to empower students to success.

Each mile has meaning: we walk in honor of students who are working toward a brighter future.

We couldn’t be prouder of the CIS community of support! The team captains have stepped up to the challenge by recruiting their walking team members, established their own group or individual walks, and started fundraising. Over 550 miles have been walked and over $5,000 has been raised!

Thank you to this year’s sponsors who helped make this year’s first Walking With Purpose initiative possible. Presenting sponsor: Ascension Borgess and supporting sponsors: CWS Financial Advisors, Old National Bank, and OnStaff USA.

Do you want to join us? There are still so many ways to support this year’s Walking With Purpose.

If you are not inspired yet, look how much fun some of our walkers are having!
