The Champs Celebration is an annual event to highlight those who have gone above and beyond for kids through Communities In Schools of Kalamazoo. Champs offers an opportunity not only to celebrate our community value of education, but also to recognize and honor the time and effort of those who help empower students to realize their full potential. Whether it is through mentoring, providing basic need services, or tutoring, these recipients remind us of the many ways that our community shows up for students, ensuring that they succeed in school, graduate, and are prepared for life.
