Ugly Sweater Fundraiser and Party

For the past 7 years, CIS has hosted guests at an annual Ugly Sweater Party. This fundraiser is a great way to gather with our community to celebrate, build awareness, and raise funds to support the work of CIS.

Some of the most ugly sweaters have been designed by our sponsors and we need you to vote for your favorite. Each sweater has a link to submit your vote by making a donation. The sweater with the most donations by the end of the Ugly Sweater Party on December 7th will be crowned the winner! Leading up to this year’s big event, a virtual and in-person sweater display will launch on November 28th. They will be on display downtown Kalamazoo in the Warner Building across from Arcadia Creek Festival Place. Voting begins on November 28th!

We like to keep our event fresh and exciting. For 2022, we are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Crawlspace Eviction for entertainment during the event at Bell’s Brewery. And, for the first time in 7 years, a crowd favorite sweater will be crowned during the evening. The crowd favorite will be voted on by those in attendance at the party without making a donation.
